NORDL@NDER.DIGITAL

First online congress on the digitalisation of the administrations of the northern German federal states under the patronage of Jan Philipp Albrecht, Minister for Energy Transition, Agriculture, Environment, Nature and Digitalisation

In order to make the best possible use of the potential of digitization, a cross-border exchange is required. On the one hand, the reusability of digital services is at the heart of knowledge transfer. On the other hand, collaborative solutions are of increasing importance.

The northern German states are already pursuing the relevance of cross-level solution approaches by offering a joint IT service provider. With the congress Nordl@nder.Digital, they and the northern German municipalities are also focusing on increased transfer of concepts, ideas and measures.

The Nordländer Kongress is aimed at all administrations from the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen, Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as well as the municipalities and districts of the respective states and the umbrella organisations of the interest groups. This year the congress will take place purely virtually. We are making up for the originally planned trade exhibition and various specialist events with the partner state of Schleswig-Holstein at Digital State 2021.

A central topic will be the ongoing implementation of the Online Access Act (OZG), which is currently giving administrative digitisation a great deal of momentum. The question of how additional transparency for - as well as openness in dealing with - citizens can be achieved through portals and platforms is also a topic at the congress.

As part of the extensive workshop and specialist forum programme, a wide range of other topics will be explored in greater depth in order to offer participants the greatest possible gain in information. These include topics such as:

  • Administrative modernisation (Dataport countries as pioneers)
  • Artificial intelligence in public administration
  • Digital sovereignty issues
  • Digital services of general interest
  • Change Management
